My interest for the creative arts spawned from my fascination with the unreal and surreal. As my ideas developed, I found that the simultaneously realistic and manipulative art of photography was my most preferred means of communication. I wish to create images that both entertain the viewer and give an insight into the absurdity of the unconscious and dreams. My images are a visual manifesto of what I find beautiful: strong colors, flora, interesting textures - all combined into conceptual photographs. Inspired by Guy Bourdin’s photography, I like to incorporate only isolated body parts into my images, giving them a quirky surrealist touch. I tend to reduce the role of the humans in my images to purely aesthetic and playfully arrange along with other objects in a studio.
